this is just an update from my side. As i am aware that my blog rating have gone down drastically. This is just another post in over a zillion posts posted everyday everyhour.

So, what is about this time ?

seriously, nothing.

I have got few friends .. from my office interested in my stupid speech and so called "EVIL SMILE"
oh, sometimes i even find me amusing that i give happiness to everyone around me !!!

tragic the life is

the path the life gives us with every turn and twist !! oh man, it sucks .
what is the ultimate aim of this endless savage of life ?
pulled by its harsh waves everywhere ? ( why do i sound sceptical ? )

everyone's going to be rich someday. What is that we want out of our life ?
Like JEGAN's blog post. what is that we ultimately aim ?

We are successful CEO's, but have we truely wanted to become one ?

my aim was to become an IAS officer .. with a green pen signature !!
ultimate aim was to end my life as soon as i get the status of the GREEN PEN SIGNATURE !!
silly it sounds.

truely, what did u imagine yourself when you were a child ? Doctor ? Engineer ? Police ?
comeon, dont lie to yourself, you portrayed yourself in front of the computer working like a mad company robo, that does nothing but the master's orders ?

we are in a position to achieve everything.
i met recently a man, almost in his sixties. Good to speak with old people, their outdated thoughts are fascinating.
i wondered, how can this old man possibly survive so long with such stupid thoughts ?

how small his thoughts were, when i met him ? What happens after 40 years from now ? when i meet my grandson and he says !! grandpa, the playstation 3 is outdated, look at the playstation 27 now. i can play at home, school nevertheless am covered all the way with the web !!?

some things are truely un imaginable..
the growth of technology, the growth of human mind.

how are both considered the same ?

technology grows to make things perfect. The perfect world, never exists !!

the human mind grows to limit the power it holds to unravel the true identity of oneself !!

we were born with unlimited potential. Just we keep limits and make ourselves to do things.
i was the best artist during my child days.
my paintings, weiredest debates i have encountered, topics i have had elocution in english and tamil, once i remember them, those memories are still fresh. My mind wants to get back to those days !!

that is exactly what the life is .. a circle.
we grow more and more and we tend to come back and back !!

the truest happiness is not in one's laughter. It lies within the tears of one. the happiest memories i go through the endless pages in my mind, the more i get them !!
i end up sitting alone wiping my tears flowing ... and saying myself

" how happy i was "

the road coming down to us, is more than what we can expect it to be. We can either travel taking all possible routes ( no shortcuts !! ) or sit complaining, "if it were good, i would have ... "

companies are not so damn hard as they are expected to be !
only a few minds work and others rest in their shadow ..
it is you to decide, to work or rest !!

if you start to work right now, you may end up resting later ...
peacefully ..
and hopefully .. wiping out our tears of happiness !!

Pros and Cons of having wife/girlfriend in the same office !!

once again . after a long time here is a small treat for all my blogging friends ..

this topic is actually with a lot more controversies from my side. It may look easier to post and comment, but simply, my side is a lot heavier right now. I have to grow to be a responsible person.
Friends close to me, friends away from me, everyone should know by this time, i have my girlfriend ( wife ) in my office itself !! and so, here comes the real pros and cons.

PROS:

Lets begin everything with the pros. actually having your wife in the same office is quite effective in terms of

traveling
time of traveling
time to start home ( if u have a home nearby, then its a real treat. Work late hours not bothered about wife waiting for you, in turn, more income, much higher position. )
In time of crisis, something happens to you at office, really your wife can care !!
Your medical funds double :) -- really, either u or your wife has now changed to both u and ur wife !!
All your allowances double -- !! if you are in a dream company and ur wife too.. then it is a great treat !!
If in same team, then really .. u can put ur work on her !!!! ( just kidding )
u can ask her do ur ppts, home works !! he he ..

enough of pros.. the more i start telling the more it gets sick !!

lets come to the problems we face !!

CONS :

Everything that has advantages comes with sacrifices. Here are the sacrifices you have to make !

1. No more PS3 or XBOX !! ======= DAMN THEM !!

2. Traveling can be done with only one person --- ur wife !!

3. If you plan to go for parties ... lol .. no way !!

4. U cannot eat your lunch with your so called friends.

5. If your wife is held up in work, you have to wait as long as it takes !....

6. For those who dont do the 5th point if u leave home without her, she would call you again and get you to pick her up !!

7. Even if u do the 6th part or even if u dont, the worst part is, u get to buy the groceries, make dinner in case she doesnt come home !!

8. Saturday and sundays .. u cannot escape by telling u have OVERTIME and go for movies !!

9. At all days u get to see the same face ( he he ... i think this one is really funny )

10. Bike la porapo .. or shopping porapo .. or office la oru ponnu kuda pesina .. u know the consequences !! strictly no more sight seeing !!

11. Veetla u have to wash the dish, clean the floors and do laundry ( pondati podavaya ellam thovakanum ) . ( she earns as much as u .. so u shud work as much .. actually more at home .. than her !! )

12. Last but not least,

" veetla nimathiya illanu kovil pona .. angayum onnu amanama thirithu " it is pazhamozhi ..

" office la thaan vela vela nu alachutu veetuku pona .. angayum ellam naamale pakanum " enna koduma saravanan ithu !! --- ithu puthumozhi .. ha ha .. i made this up !! still needs further touching ..

TIP OF THE DAY :

Husband velaki poitu veetuku varumpothu, wife will stay in the "vaasal" and get him home, give him coffee or something, snacks ... kaal amuthi viduvanga .. then make him comfortable. Nite dinner parimaruvanga, will wait until husband eats and then will eat on the same plate or "BANANA LEAF".

Here after, it will be like, husband goes home earlier planning to take rest, but has to wait for his wife to come, he sits with her, kaala amuthi vidrathu, thala pidichu vidurathu and then make coffee, snacks .. sariya panalana .. thitu vera vangitu .. then should buy vegetables .. fruits .. do all the work. wait for his wife to eat .. then eat the "micham meethi food" athayum veetla iruka "naai" ku podanum, dish ellam wash pananum then tired a vanthu oru 11ku padthukanum. If wife feels too much work tension, she wont let you sleep !! she will tell all stories. Athayum porumaya ketutu .. thoonganum .

Morning seekrame elunthu, coffee potu kuduthutu .. breakfast a fast a pannitu.. lunch ( office la provide pana neenga escape ) vera kati kuduthutu .. avanga kudave kelambanum. Office la drop pannitu .. ammadiyo nu vanthu seat la ukaranum.. APAPO ungala kuptute irupanga .. ithu sariyila .. athu sariyilla nu kora sollite irupanga.. neenga athellam kuda poruthutu iruntha ..

So friends, besides all the pros, the cons dominate us !!
if your wife joins your company... i think u better change the company !! ha ha

its not like killing time with some stupid stuff .. this is just a stupid topic i got while driving.

Have you all wondered why some companies are called dream ?
all i could think of and got few answers ...

1. Dream companies for some persons .. are always dream .. People restrict their dreams and feel that is the highest possible thing they can achieve .. i have once answered to a HR regarding dreams .. " when you stop dreaming, that means you have achieved " .. but none of us stop our dreams .. which means .. we havent achieved yet ...

2. In dream companies like ours .. things are so fine that we literally sleep and dream things ..
almost all the time, we can be found sleepy .. and dream dream dream !!!

3. In some companies, everything is a dream. The office, the machines, the work and even the technology they use or invent.. everything is like a dream. A dream coming true. Once you enter such companies, u start complaining others a lot, becos they dont live upto your dream ...

But, why am i saying this .. does this have anything to speak with the topic today ? ofcourse.

Just if, we people .. our college batch .. our CSE batch .. our friends become CEO of some company one day. or start a new company and become the chairman !!!

we in such a dream position, if given a chance to select our motto !! ... yeah .. that s right .. that s the topic !!

I ran into an angel !!!

I took a shot on the pub with all the guts i had.
Suddenly a beautiful looking girl sat beside me and looking at me and smiling with her soft white face.

She was so beautiful as an angel, perhaps with two glittering white wings, that soar high in the sky and make a perfect flight. Ah, Nevermind, i said to myself, u r very high dude !!

Besides my effort to ignore her, i felt like the girl is stalking at me so long . Finally, i decided to break the silence,

Me: Do i know u ?
She: I dont know that, but i know you.
Me: Oh. Have u met me before ? Or .. ( i am a great person to be remembered i guess ) ..
She: I have been seeing you for a long time.
Me: Oh ( did she say she is seeing me ? oh god .. no .. i have a girl friend ) .. What ?
She: I have noticed you a long time.

Taking another shot of the scotch over the table, i looked at her with all my thoughts confused, who the hell is she and i never even remember her ..

Me: Am sorry, i think i am pretty high to remember the occasion we have seen each other.
She: Its ok .. i can deal with it.
Me: No.. please tell me, how do u know me ? How many times have we met.
She: Perhaps we have seen each other almost everyday. At work, at school, at tution centres and even at your interview.

Damn. I am so confused, who is she. May be someone i have missed to see. ( really, i have a great girl friend, so it is natural for me to miss out some other beautiful girls. But, how did i not even remember her face ? )

Her face is so calm, that could not be mistaken for anything else. Her smile is so bright, it can bring up the entire energy lost during a day's work. She would really be a substitute of any mother in the world with such a passion and care and love. But, who the hell is she for me to remember ?

How can i have forgotten such a face. I had no idea except to continue the conversation.

Me: U said, u have seen me at all times, how come ? and u were a child when i was too ?
She: Oh, nothing like that dear. I have seen u and cared for every step you have taken in your life.

Is she some sort of mother ? Holy angel ? Or just a stalker to get my attention ?

Me: Were you stalking me for a long time ?
She: ( smiling ) No dear. I have no reason to stalk someone. Even if i do, people will only like it.
Me: Not really, i have a girl friend, and so i wont want u to stalk me.

Smiling again. I should say her smile is mysterious, as if the god himself has come to the bar to chit chat with one of his stupidest creations.

Me: Ok. lets cut the crap. Can u tell me where have me met ? and what occasions in precise ?

She: So, if that is what you wish now, i can say you. When you were born, u were given the priceless mole on the right arm wrist, i was there looking at your grin on your new born face.
When you grew up, you were given the artistic talent that only a few recieve along with a great analytical and logical skills.

I started to wonder, people say, most of the people fall into right brain or left brain category. When u r logically good and imaginative, u fall into one category, when u r analytically good and great with math, u fall into other. I was always a hybrid mix.

She: When u wrote your exams, i was near you looking at your beautiful handwriting. When you finished your exams and waited for your 10th results, i crossed my fingers. You got your centum in the mathematics paper. You were given the talent of playing chess and strategically thinking.
All the time, i have been proud of you.

When you wrote your 12th standard public exam, i wished you clear and get good college, and u got the same. I was always there when you wanted me. Even when u wanted the girl of your love, i was smiling at you saying myself "thats a good choice, i myself cant have chosen someone better than her" . when all things came and you have to take responsibility, there i was at your interview, clearing you desk to desk from the easiest to the toughest of all you had to clear.

And finally, when you wanted to get your girl into your own organization, there i was looking at you and helping you through.

( oops.. there i am .. highly confused. Is it due to the alcohol i consumed or the scotch was expired 100 years or so .. or somethng else ? how can this girl know every possible circumstance that i have encountered in my life and still, i couldnt remember the face. How come i miss such a face in my life ? )

Me: i am so confused now.. why are you here now ?
She: Nothing, just came to see you and say, i am always there for you, whether u need me or not, i will be watching you . Drinking is not good for your health, whatever problems you are facing, will fade very soon. Dont worry.

( i couldnt imagine how soothing such words, coming from an angel. I lost the interest of scotch and turned down the glass as a sign of i wont be consuming you again dear. The angel glided away as if her feet were not on the ground and her wings were battling for a flight. I grabbed my coat, tipped the waiter and rushed. I had a glimpse of her beauty one last time, i asked her name)

She: LUCK ...
and there she vanished ..
And i know, she vanished only from the place and not from my life !

however, a recent article i read states that people in FB give out their real names and real accounts rather than orkut .. but still, people dont really use their real identities in the social networks ..
we have to be careful from distinguishing the differences !

yet another post..
i have been visiting office since july 6 which i found very very interesting..

i am kinda sharing my office matters with you guys ( which is strictly forbidden !!! )
we have a very busy schedule to keep up everyday. here it is ..

How do we work .. our schedule and our entire day to day daily activities ..
infact a robot kind of routine ..

Office timings are pretty flexible .. just sit anytime u want, meet the deadline, show some results.
guys .. if we can clear the entire 6 month long semester in less than a day's time, these dead lines are nothing .. really !!

ok .. getting back to schedule ..

10 am - people start coming .. ( we come this time )
10:05 - keep bags in place, reach the cubicle, check the draws and go for morning breakfast
10:30 - breakfast is over ( so fasssst ) and recieve schedule of what to do today mail

10:30 - 11:30 - kinda speak with all .. about the schedule and how are we actually going to work on it ..

11:30 - 11:45 - Tea, Coffee and snack time .. ( if you are so confused about choosing what u want, u can have all of it .. )

11:45- 12:55 - Actually a team meet .. they discuss things they are going to show .. and blab blab blab

1:00 - 2:00 - Lunch ( hey .. vantha velaya papome pa ) ...

2:05 - 3:00 - manthama saptathellam jeernam aaga we go and try working !! ( nejaaaammmmma work pana try panvome .. thooooookama varum aana .. he he )

3:00 - 4:30 - Hiiiiiiii ... games .. sports .. and things ..
neraya teams meet this time .. and discuss .. ( they discuss only .. )

4:30- 5:00 - Snacks time .. ( tea, coffee, snacks .. and evening tiffin )

5:00- 6:00 - work work work ( whatever we had to do in the morning, we finish in this time .. seriously in less than 15 mins )

After 6:00 ... most leave home !!

by the way, in some time .. they work .. remaining time .. they browse ..
chat .. pay bills ..

we chat .. and now .. i blog !! ( from work .. )

its long since my last post..
i have no content to share with you all right now ..

i have been busy sleeping and playing and stopped blogging almost !!
even DOTA !!

we have been all together for 3 years and never imagined i would be close to you all through blog
seriously, i am not sure how people get to know me through my writings.

my company joining date is not announced so far and i hope its not a military secret to keep away from me !!

too long since my last post..

quite busy with my gaming activities and my stupid laptop, crashing more often.

there is a virus in my system, that dumps every single byte of physical memory available free with some junk. Hope some geeeeks out there can help me ..

as you all know, ( quite a few know i guess xD) .. i got placed in a dream company .. SYMANTEC ( still i doubt whether there is two 'M' in the company's name) ..

the experience of attending the interview was great .. so, i thought i can share few things about that with my beloved friends !! ( you are kidding.. ofcourse i am )

ok .. i thought i might want to upload a picture .. but currently i cant ..

its my system and can crash anytime.. thanks to autosave feature..

ok .. here it is .. all my rounds of interview .. be patient and dont be laughing with every answer of mine ..!!!!!

First round:

what is so important about the first round ?

first of all.. i am not much qualified to attend a dream job .. still .. with no confidence .. attended the first round of interview .. thanks to suren and suresh !!

i solved all of the aptitude questions on my own ..

then i copied some 30 questions from suresh .. like .. bababcdbdbadbcdbd way !!

u know wat he had his page completed.. but me left with two questions..

i forgot .. that idiot dint attend 2 questions .. and i copied in some stupid fashion way !!

other technical questions were quite obvious for me ( i dont know the answer for heaven's sake)

i had to guess a lot !!!

selected for the first round .. me, suresh, venky !!

unlucky for suren ..

i dint have any of my certificates and so had to go home to fetch them ..

Tambaram seemed like a endless travel in the crowded 21G bus ..

finally reached home .. and grabbed everything i got in my hands !!

my time slot was at 4 .. i reached home by 2 30 and have to reach college again by 4 !!

ok .. everything set .. reached college by 3 50 .. i was in time !

Second round:

The round was quite technical ..

when i reached the vivekanda auditorium where the interview was conducted .. venky was already there .

some other friends from MIT .. i have no idea who they are .. were also there

after 30 mins or something, suresh came out !!

he was followed by a handsome looking guy ( gayyyyyyyyyyyyy .. i am not gayy .. )

he said suresh " kavala padatha pa .. next time you can surely make it .. we have summer interns and can hire u guys through that "

me and venky : nasama pochu .. machan .. lets leave da ..

only geeks suren and suresh .. were rejected .. how am i suppose to get in ?

? --- this is for big question mark .. i dint get it much bigger than this !!

then ... some others ( almost everyone ) were coming out ..

i heard from someone attending interview previously .. that the questions were entirely on testing and few technical ..

the symantec guys gave us a form .. self testing or something ..

the form had columns and box for every field that u have to evaluate yourself ..

i left the one with QA (testing) --- exactly it was looking like this ..

then i went to the interviewer !!

he was young .. "ahhh . i can put bit in this first round and escape "

lucky to my watever u call it ..

he just left me .. with wat i am ..

i told him i am a game geek .. presented 5 paper presentations and published a paper ( impressive .. ) .. won many prizes at school level tournament in chess ( am a district chess champ !! ) .. participated essentially in many debates ( won all of them .. no exceptions ) ..

he was impressed .. u know my file holds about a hundred of my school certificates and few of my college certificates ( only one marksheet !! )

inter: so, can u write a program in java with database connectivity ?

me : no sir , i am not well versed with java ( if he asked the same with C, i still dont know the answer)

inter: ok .. can u write a query that brings up information of all persons with names starting with 'a' ?

me: sure .. ( after a while wrote a db query .. dont ask me what it is .. god's sake .. i dont remember )

inter: ok .. good .. i want u to implement this in db in any language u know

me: i can do in JSP ..

inter: fine then .. carry on .. ( and he left )

in 5 mins, i wrote it fully and was waiting for him .. he came back and checked it ..

pretty good .. ( i am good at jsp i guess !!)

inter: what are the components of rmi ?

me: ( i forgot it really .. trust me ) .. sir, i dont remember rite now ..

inter: havent u heard of stub and skeleton ?

me: ( ahh .. ) .. oh yeah ( proceeded with a detailed analysis of stub and skel and a rmi program

inter: hmm .. ok .. so wat do u know about testing ?

me: i know something .. but ..

inter: he interupted me .. why u havent given anything on QA ?

me: with my smile ( evil smile .. someone says so ) .. sir, honestly i dont know what is QA

inter: with his smile, it means quality assurance.. testing .. comeon .. why do u need testing ..

( small break here .. while i was waiting outside .. a guy told venky, me and some other MIT guys about testing. Alpha testing, beta testing and he was explaining these two. Venky skipped other testings .. so i remember only two of the above testing methods .. how am i going to deal with it in the questionare.. watch )

me: sir, developers usually do testing to their products and find it valuable or worthy. when these developers do testing among themselves, it becomes alpha testing. When the user does testing it becomes beta testing. ( this is easy for anyone to say.. but that is not what i wanted to say )

actual answer: sir, i am a game geek. i play a lot of games and a valued player in some games. In those games, like maps, ( counter strike ), they provide a new map or new feature and test it among themselves. Such testings, they call as the alpha testing. only developers to this kind of testing. After testing the game features newly implemented. they choose certain players, only high level players who can exploit every feature and ask them to use the product and report any errors or bugs they find. currently i am playing a game called ragnarok .. in that game, it is an online server game. In that game, every feature they implement, they ask players like us ( includes me !! ) to test for some bugs, or lags, or the server hangs or some other problems and this they call beta testing. So am currently doing few beta testing. Ultimately what they gain is, when u find the feature is too annoying or causes a problem in the system, the players can switch to other servers. So, by these testing philosophies, they are gaining the trust of customers. By beta testing, they allow customers to actively participate, which results in a very long term understanding relationship.

( u know .. i dont even know a single word before i spoke .. everything finally grouped and became my answer .. )

he was pretty much impressed .. they had a column for remarks ..

he wrote like " he knows a lot about testing, but doesnt know what is testing" ..

and i am done ..

Questions i answered perfectly:

1. How does yahoo mail system work?

2. Server client models, architecture models with examples and few db queries

3. Three puzzles, took a little time, but i solved all of them

4. A little from Distributed systems, before he went further, he knew i am good at DS

5. Wrote a Datastructure for a mobile phone

6. Wrote the same mobile phone thing with oops with all features of OOPS !!

ok .. pretty good ..

i had a few management course certificates, computer course certificates and other paper presentation certificates and showed him .. he was impressed anyway !!

( about my other rounds .. i will write again .. either updating this or a new post .. kindly comment .. i dont find this funny in writing, but when i say .. u will laugh like hell )

let me make one thing first .. hero could be as good as our thalaivar ( vijay ) or black hero ( super star ) or may be ajith ( he got a new baby ) or even surya ( why me !!! )
ha ha .. i have no rights to compare super star with him ...

intro .. every story or movie will have a glamourous heroine intro .. we have a glamour hero !!

i wanted to post this topic after a few more, but right now i feel this is better one to get posted.

august 11th was my friend's birthday .. radha krishnan from mechanical dept of our college ..
he gave his first treat in his whole life time ( since the days i knew him, he never gave any treat )

this time was a special occasion " dont miss it in your life time " -- this was the message spreading to all the mobile fones of our friends, radha s giving treat .. we never believed it was true at all ..

finally tat day .. i got a message at 8 pm saying .. treat .. come soon ..
i went and saw a handful of friends, hanging out for the treat .
just some 6 of them .. i din know the budget , place or watever u name it .. simply i went out for wishing him .. ( at nite 8pm .. lol )

then we planned to start , time was 8 30 .. it was ok ..
( i have a protocol to be followed in my family .. dont go out late than 8 30 .. i have to be at home maximum at 9 pm )

he din say where he was taking us to .. or the budget ..
nothing .. just including him were 7 of them .. walking on road and chatting ..

trust me .. when school friends meet .. it really is wonderful in chatting ..
u see others never changed at all .. and they sense the same with you ..

as u all know .. i am a movie watcher ( everyone is .. but my full time job is watching movies )
especially i get addicted to animations and cartoon movies

here is yet another movie review i would like to share with u all ..
the movie name is wall-e

the plot of the movie is :

n a distant, but not so unrealistic future, where mankind has abandoned earth because it has become covered with trash from products sold by the corrupt and powerful multi-national Buy N Large corporation, WALL-E, a garbage collecting robot has been left to clean up the mess. Mesmerized with trinkets of earth's history and show tunes, WALL-E is alone on Earth except for a sprightly pet cockroach. One day, Eve, a sleek (and dangerous) reconnaissance robot, is sent to earth to find proof that life is once again sustainable. WALL-E falls in love with Eve. WALL-E rescues Eve from a dust storm and shows her a living plant he found amongst the rubble. Consistent with her "directive" Eve takes the plant and automatically enters a deactivated state except for a blinking green beacon. WALL-E, doesn't understand what has happened to his new friend, but true to his love, he protects her from wind, rain, and lightening, even as she is unresponsive. i liked the movie .. since i am a superhero fan .. and this is no exception ..

but imdb comments and review says this movie is far better than the first part with lot more of species and new monsters ( dont include himself ) ..
like any other supermovie , superman returns, spiderman 2, batman the dark knight, all are the second part , are much better than their first parts .. similar way .. this movie is even better than its part 1 !!

As a fan of the superman legend for many years, I waited in anticipation for the new TV series , ‘Smallville'. I have been richly rewarded by it, as we now get to see how difficult life must have been for ‘Kal-el', as an American teenager. Although we never get to see the ‘super-being' fly around in his tights and cape, he is a fascinating character to watch, as he comes to terms with who he is and what he can do. This is the tale of a teenage Clark Kent in the days before he was Superman.

A huge meteor shower destroyed most of the town of Smallville, Kansas. It killed a lot of people, and brought Jonathan and Martha Kent what they have always wanted: a son. In 2001, Smallville has somewhat recovered from the horrible blast. However a popular yet awkward teen Clark Kent, attempts to decipher the meaning of his life and his clouded past. As he struggles with the transition from boyhood to adulthood, his strength and strange abilities set him uncomfortably apart from his peers. Clark must deal with a variety of individuals given powers by mysterious green rocks from the meteor shower, keep his powers a secret, cope with his friendship with a young Lex Luthor, and balance the two girls in his life, Chloe and Lana.

This show, although it is touching on an old and celebrated story, still has very original aspects to it. The storylines that have been presented in ‘Smallville' are of the finest quality, with some pushing the boundary that could reveal ‘what' Clark Kent really is. While it is strange to see it, the friendship that has developed between Clark's future arch-enemy, Lex Luthor, is fascinating. I am looking forward to seeing how Lex keeps turning into a criminal mastermind, while the shows has touched base on this a little. I also like the way that the story integrates seeing that not all of Smallville's individuals have not escaped the dangerous affects of what we get to know later is ‘ Kryptonite', the one thing that can hurt Superman. All of the stories have kept me interested enough to want know what will happen next.

The cast of this show, while it is somewhat unknown, is impressive. The lead role of Clark Kent/ Kal-El, is done perfectly by Tom Welling. In fact the resemblance between Welling and the junior Clark performed in the first Superman movie, Jeff East, is incredible. The other young cast members include the gorgeous Kristen Kruek, who plays the charming innocent Lana Lang. I like most people hope that Clark does end up with Lana, as for some reason, she does not deserve someone as good as Clark is. Michael Rosenbaum plays a quality Lex Luthor, with the two newer characters in this story, Pete and Chloe, performed by Sam Jones III and Allison Mack. I do like the two older cast members who were given the roles of Martha and Jonathon Kent. Martha is played by Annette O'Toole, who if you can remember appeared in the third ‘Superman' movie, as a grown up Lana Lang. I really like her as Clark Kent's mother, but for what reason I don't know. While John Schneider is a likeable Jonathon Kent.

I like the soundtrack that this show has been given. The show's main tune of `Save me', suits it very well. That song is performed by Remy Zero. While the other bands that have been used in Smallville include The calling, with their great hit ‘wherever you will go', and Eve 6's ‘Rescue'. While Enrique Inglesia's smash hit of ‘Hero' also appeared in one episode. The soundtrack this show has really helps keep my interest and gives the program a ‘youthful' feel as well.

All in all this show has given back more than what I excepted. I guess my only criticism of it has to be the corny and contrived love story theme that it continues to bring up, especially between Clark and Lana. I wish they would either be lovers or just friends. Swapping from one phase to the other starts to become confusing and frustrating, well does for me anyway. It will be fascinating to see what happens once Clark Kent realises he has to leave Smallville and pursue what and who he was meant to be, that of course is being Superman. I have found it hard to accept that Clark Kent is growing up in the ‘present', that being the new millennium, as it does not seem to fit the ‘Superman' genre. Perhaps that is a good thing, as Superman might have a different feel in the future. Whatever happens, I will continue to watch ‘Smallville' hoping that it is original in every aspect.

the latest movie i saw was .. batman the dark knight

imdb ratings are 9.6 with around 70,000 votes so far ..
so .. i went on a unplanned day .. to see the movie .. ( unplanned everything )

it went well ..
the movie was nice ( not to mention how bad was the theater )
hmm ..

i watched it with a decent cam print ..
it became my favourite at the first time i saw it !!
so funny .. and the panda .. just was keeping me occupied with its activities !!

i remember my friend SRINI .. when i was watching the movie ..
ambitious panda .. though without a proper guide .. now with a proper guide becomes the master of kung fu ! oh .. am i saying the story ..

Microsoft's way - campus placements

an interesting news on campus placement ..
microsoft s visit to campus was not so satisfactory for some of my friends ..
especially for vijay chidambaram ..

the guys we expected to get selected are thanumalayan and vijay chidambaram ..

unlike our expectations .. placements turned over upside down..

first round was funny .. we all participated ( it was just for fun .. so the word participated )
we got a bag and a notebook ( microsoft s ya !! )
ha ha .. never to mention .. we were afraid of getting shortlisted for the zeroth round !!

ok ok .. it was over .. and i came home by 2 30 .. results are to be announced at 3 30 ..
i was not selected .. i knew it ..

our class .. nitin .. vijay chidambaram .. thanumalayan .. sivaguru .. were shortlisted !!

next round was at the evening .. lasting longer than the midnight !

final candidates were the top 4 too .. along with few other friends of our dept and MIT ..

vijay chidambaram .. was preparing for microsoft .. like hell .. ( he stopped dotaing with us )

next rounds were tougher for them ..

thanu was asusual in his usual costume .. just bit different in looks ..
nitin was good and so was VC ..

at the end .. vijay said he attended only 2 rounds .. and the MS guys left without conducting a third round ..
sad .. he said nitin did well ..

MS was to take 4 candidates .. out of which 3 were confirmed .. thanu .. bhuvana .. siddarth ..
who s gonna take the 4 place ?????

nice to hear .. it was suppose to be either VC or nitin...
but sad ..

both of them missed their MS ..

placements are good as of now ..

lot of action and lot of fun ..

similar to aoe .. warcraft is yet another strategy game ..
this DOTA .. is a map tat is used to be played in warcraft .. online multiplayer games ..
as well as artificial intelligence bots .. ..

the main advantage of this is .. we control only a single unit ( hero .. ) yet use a team strategy to get a win ..

AOE 2 - The empires strike back

am good to be back
got my unix semester exam on 7 th of dec, still interested with blogging and gaming
i wanted to share my online gaming experience ...

AOE - age of empires , most of them should be familiar with this game
i was mad in playing aoe 2, kings
then went for the conquerors expansion , but making the same civilisation in same map against a same opponent !!
i was little interested with aoe 3, graphics seem to be higher
i didn't like the gaming strategies and other things
they didn't interest me more like the aoe 2
i had age of mythology, much more better than aoe 3 ( in my opinion )
but still very boring
time consuming
so i left playing the game quite a long time

but now the empires strike back
interested with hamachi ( creating a small network ) we play the game online with all our friends with different (hardest) opponents and with different maps !

The butter fruit challenge - part 1

waited long enough to find a post that can be spoofed from Vijay s blog
the result is, i have to admit he is really a great blogger
for people who waited long to find a new post in this blog, this post is sure to make a fun or bring our memories back

The icecap -- i dont even remember the name of the fruit shop
it is located not very far from my college just near a petrol bunk near the halda signal
the name may suggest it is too grand for a fruit shop, but it really is just a little bigger to a platform fruit juice shop

Pradep and Vijay were the first to introduce me to that fruit shop
" The butterfruit juice, it is like an idly da, we did not drink it, pradep ate it ! ", Vijay sounded with astonishment in the class the following day.
The previous day he and pradep have visited the fruit shop and resulted in an idly like juice for 25 rupees ..... each !
Vijay invited me to fruit shop to taste the butter fruit.
So, the second day we went, me and senthil were the new visitors to the shop
The shop was deserted except us and the owner !
as usual Vijay ordered the butter fruit for us and readily agreed to pay for us !( OC la vantha yaru venamnu solluva ) ....

the juice was not as we imagined, it was neat, cream coloured and was in a long glass jar( it is supposed to be a drinking glass .. lol )
( Vijay told they were given in a rectangular tiffin box like glass to drink .. sorry sorry to eat .. cut panni sapdalama !!)
The game started, only senthil was given the juice and i escaped along with pradep ordering something new named AKI !!

senthil - the peculiar character guy .. he should be named !
he has a passion to any drink or juice and hates to eat his lunch ( everyone will hate to eat what he eats )
the challenge was a utter flop, senthil came with a clean wiped out glass of butter fruit juice .
Vijay wondered, how could possibly he be the survivor of the juice !
We all wondered wat is there in his throat or his stomach !
the challenge was over !

finally we got a winner--- senthil kumar

i had to admit, butter fruit would have tasted better than what i had, the aki.
the shop became our regular visiting place, not for the taste of drink they provide, but to see how many could positively survive the juice bombs !!

The butter fruit challenge was even more funny the next day with Thanu and Rajesh in the game !!!

Starting a blog . Got the idea from VC . That guy is the coolest! Well this is the second post in this blog and so far it has been very dull. Trust me .. it wont be dull often !

Chemistry says
" VC is a chemical combination of V( visual ) and C ( compilation ) .. which is in equal propositions produce a genuine VC++ programmer "

Physics says
" The centre of attraction for all in a class and the center of attraction to himself is VC "

and more subject defines him by its own way !

Lets not bother about the defns !!

hmm .. the name suggests he is a wonderful person to know about
i already feel the post is silly or otherwise.
